They’re now looking to bring on a Customer Support Specialist to work alongside their Business Development team - someone who can help stay close to customers, keep communication flowing and pick things up before they become issues.

This role is all about being that extra touchpoint - the person customers know they can rely on.

What you’ll be doing

Working closely with a team of BDMs, you’ll support an established customer base through regular, proactive engagement.

This isn’t a reactive, inbox-style role - it’s structured, relationship-driven and focused on staying ahead.

You’ll be:
  • Checking in regularly with active customers to maintain strong relationships
  • Acting as a second point of contact - someone approachable and reliable
  • Identifying potential issues early and escalating where needed
  • Picking up on opportunities for growth or additional support
  • Capturing insights and maintaining accurate CRM data
  • Supporting the BDM team with clear, useful customer feedback
You’ll have strong systems behind you (including AI-supported tools), but the real impact comes from how you engage with customers and interpret what’s happening on the ground.

What we’re looking for

This role suits someone who is proactive, organised and enjoys building trust with customers over time.

You’ll likely bring:
  • Experience in customer service, sales support or account coordination within a professional environment
  • Confidence working with CRM systems - ideally
  • Strong communication skills - warm, clear and commercially aware
  • High attention to detail, particularly when managing data and follow-ups
  • The ability to anticipate issues and take initiative
Experience in food services, FMCG, distribution or B2B environments is highly regarded - but strong hospitality experience (particularly front-of-house) can also translate well.
