A well-established organisation is seeking a proactive Systems and Safety Coordinator to manage safety compliance and oversee operational systems across multiple sites in Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for fostering a safe and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety audits to ensure compliance with state and national safety standards.
- Manage and maintain the Business Management System (BMS), including regular reviews and updates.
- Facilitate toolbox meetings to promote safety awareness and operational compliance.
- Monitor legislative changes and provide management with advice on necessary compliance actions.
- Support annual ISO re-certification processes, including preparation and documentation.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as documentation and onboarding processes.
- Drive the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
- Contribute to long-term safety strategies, with potential involvement in international sites and the opportunity to grow a small team in line with company growth.
- Demonstrated experience in safety compliance, auditing, or systems coordination.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and workplace health and safety legislation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple sites.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility for occasional travel to sites for assessments and onboarding.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset to implement improvements and support operational needs.
